Expand a production brewery and taproom without compromising process temperatures or taproom comfort.

Process cooling loads and hospitality comfort share one building, and the brewery had to keep producing during the build.
The outcome
Stable fermentation temperatures and a comfortable taproom, with capacity headroom for future tank additions.

Project Overview
Goodfire Brewing's Freeport expansion brought production brewing and a full hospitality space under one roof. Working alongside M.W. Hoss Construction, Mash Mechanical delivered the mechanical, refrigeration and process cooling systems that keep the beer cold, the brewhouse workable and the taproom comfortable year-round.
Breweries put unusual demands on mechanical systems — humidity and heat from the brewhouse, tight temperature control on fermentation and cold storage, and a public taproom that has to stay quiet and comfortable just feet away. We coordinated equipment, ductwork and piping around the architecture so the finished space reads clean and intentional.
