What Mash installed
HVAC with high-turnover ventilation and zoned controls per studio.
What made it difficult

The outcome
Fresh, fast-recovering studio air between back-to-back classes.

Project Overview
Reframe Pilates Studio in Falmouth is Maine's first Xformer Pilates studio. The team collaborated with owner Lily Jocham from concept through completion to shape the layout, design and finishes of her first studio — a bright, high-energy space built to carry the brand and elevate the client experience.
Mash Mechanical delivered the mechanical package for the fit-up. A fitness studio swings quickly from empty to a full class, so the studio room was given generous outside air and high-turnover ventilation with even, draft-free distribution over the reformers. Equipment and diffusers were selected and located for quiet operation, and the lobby, retail, changing rooms and studio were zoned separately so each space holds its own temperature between classes.
Scope of Work
- • Heating and cooling for studio, lobby and support spaces
- • High-turnover ventilation and outside air for the studio room
- • Quiet, draft-free air distribution over the reformer floor
- • Dedicated exhaust for restrooms and changing areas
- • Separate zoning for retail, reception and studio
- • Controls, test-and-balance, startup and commissioning
